The positions are 40 hours per week with on-call hours evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Applicant must be 18 years of age, able to work outside in all conditions, possess a valid NH driver’s license, medical card and have experience operating heavy equipment. The starting pay rate is $20.36/hour.

Part-Time Office Assistant to the Board of Selectmen

The Town of Sandown, NH is accepting resumes for the part time position of Office Assistant to the Board of Selectmen. Working under the direction of the Town Administrator, the Office Assistant provides direct support to the Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen, responds to inquiries from citizens, receives and distributes incoming mail, processes outgoing mail, works with the Assistant to the Town Administrator in the preparation of the Town Warrant and the annual Town Report.  

Must possess a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, and independent judgment in planning and carrying out responsibilities and a general knowledge of ordinances, regulations, policies and procedures of the Town a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Recording Secretary - Recreation Commission

The Town of Sandown is seeking applications for a Recording Secretary to the Recreation Commission. Typically, this committee meets on the first and third Wednesday evening of each month. The Recording Secretary is responsible for attending Recreation Commission meetings, recording and maintaining minutes of meetings, and typing of minutes. The applicant is also responsible for posting minutes at Town Hall. Must have access to a computer and email and have a high school degree or its equivalent. Previous experience preferred but not necessary. The hourly rate range is $21.00-$22.50 per hour depending on experience.
