te for Depot Renovation

The Sandown Historical Society and Museum is accepting bids for renovation and restoration work on the Depot.

The Depot is the home of a wonderful collection of both Sandown and rail road history. The building is owned by the town and the Historical Society owns the collection.

In the year of 1977 the town donated the use of the building to the then new Historical Society. The mission of the SHS is to restore the Depot to the look of the early 1900s and use it as home the museum.

The Building is in need of a new roof, new paint, some restoration details, and electrical work. This will be paid for by donations and grants, with hopefully no cost to the town

Tradesmen interested in bidding the work should contact me. We at the Society want to support the local contractors and make this a WIN-WIN for all

Thank-You
