The construction of a new recreation facility is underway. The new facility will include a multipurpose playing field, 30 ft. x 80 ft recreation building with large activity space, handicap assessible bathrooms, kitchen/concession area, recreation office and full basement. Space is planned for a playground, outdoor patio area and parking. Various boards have worked cooperatively to make this happen. The facility, with a value of approximately $700,000 is being built without using taxpayer money.
