The Sandown Recreation Commission is seeking to fill a 3-year term.
The Recreation Commission oversees the operation of the Parks and Recreation department which is responsible for town owned recreation facilities and recreation programming for residents of all ages.
The Commission normally meets twice each month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM. This is a ‘hands on’ board where members often roll up their sleeves and help with projects, events and activities.
Applicants are asked to submit a letter of interest to the Commission.
Letters may be sent to: Sandown Recreation Commission, P.O. Box 642, Sandown, NH 03873
or dropped off in the recreation mailbox at Town Hall or delivered to the
recreation office located at 25 Pheasant Run Drive in the Edward C. Garvey Recreation Facility.
The Sandown Recreation Commission is a volunteer organization dedicated to planning recreational activities for residents of Sandown including children, adults, and senior citizens; Coordinating with all departments of the Town in furthering recreational needs of all residents; Maintaining recreational sites in Sandown including the Roy L. Miller Recreational Park and Seeley Beach.
